Gravity Ball Maze1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the Gravity Ball Maze mobile application (the “App”) handles information. The App is a tilt-controlled physics maze game: tilt your device to roll a steel ball through a maze to the goal. This policy describes the app as distributed on the Play Store (the release build). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App does not request, gather, or transmit any data such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, photos, contacts, or device identifiers. The App is distributed without internet permission and functions fully offline — the version you install from the Play Store has no way to send data anywhere, even if it wanted to.
3. Data Stored on Your Device
To remember your progress, the App saves small settings locally on the device itself:
- Which level you've unlocked, your best completion time and stars per level, and which levels you chose to skip;
- The gems you've collected and spent, and which ball skins you own and have equipped;
- A short recording of your best run on a level, so the ghost ball can race you — it is a list of ball positions, nothing about you;
- Your tilt sensitivity and tilt calibration, and your sound, music, haptics, ghost and game-mode settings.
This information:
- Is never transmitted to us or to any third party — the released App has no internet permission, so it has no way to send it anywhere;
- May be included in your own Google account backup if you have Android's automatic device backup switched on, so your progress returns when you set up a new phone. That copying is done by Android, not by the App, and you can turn it off in your device's backup settings;
- Can be cleared at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
4. Motion Sensor
The App reads your device's built-in accelerometer to turn tilting into in-game gravity. This reading is used live, every frame, purely to move the ball — it is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. Android does not require a runtime permission prompt for this sensor.
5. Internet Access & Network Use
The App does not require an internet connection to operate and does not include internet permission in its release build. No content is downloaded, uploaded, or synced.
6. Advertising & Third-Party Services
The App contains no advertisements and does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics tools, or social media plugins. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no in-app purchases.
7. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no personal information and operates offline, no personal data of any user — including children — is ever processed, shared, or sold.
8. Permissions
The App requests only the minimal permissions needed for it to function: the motion sensor (to
read device tilt) and keeping the screen awake during play (WAKE_LOCK, since tilting
isn't a touch event that would otherwise keep the screen on). It does not request access to the
camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage of personal files, or the internet.
